Both, and neither exactly. Grace is licensed as a child-care center (what most parents call "daycare") by Texas HHSC — and we run a real preschool inside it, using the Frog Street curriculum with age-appropriate developmental milestones for every classroom. Full-day care, real preschool programming, not a drop-in.
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, year-round. Full-day only — Grace does not do half-day or part-time drop-in for full-time enrollments. Twelve months a year (including summer), with brief closures for major holidays and staff development days.
Six weeks through Kinder Bridge — infants, toddlers, twos, preschool, Pre-K, and Kinder Bridge (our private transitional kindergarten year). Grace accepts babies at six weeks, which is a rarity in Aledo — many programs won't take infants until six months or a year.
Yes. Grace Learning Tree is a licensed Texas child-care center under HHSC Chapter 746, with routine unannounced inspections and a public inspection record at childcare.hhs.texas.gov. That matters — some small programs in Texas operate under a license-exempt private-school framework instead. Grace chose the full licensed path because the state's safety framework exists to protect the youngest children in our care.
Frog Street — a research-based early-childhood curriculum you can Google tonight. It runs the academic day and covers language and literacy, math, social-emotional development, and physical development in age-appropriate blocks. Ask any daycare what curriculum they use. If the answer is "proprietary" or a name only that school uses, there's nothing you can read tonight. If the answer is a real, published curriculum, you can see the research yourself.
