Open when you need us — closed only 12 days a year

Dependable childcare in Aledo, even when most other programs aren't.

Most early-education programs in Aledo follow the full Aledo ISD calendar — closing for every teacher workday, mid-week holiday, and extended break. Grace Learning Tree closes only 12 days a year. We're a family-owned, faith-based preschool and early learning center built around what working families need: dependable care, open the days other centers aren't, Monday–Friday 7am–6pm. (For safety, we follow Aledo ISD weather closures.)

Why the school-calendar gap hurts working families

If your child's preschool follows the full Aledo ISD calendar, here's the reality: between teacher workdays, holiday weeks, fall break, winter break, spring break, and the long summer, you're looking at 25 to 35 days a year when there's no school — on top of weather closures. Each one is a scramble: who watches your child? Can you take PTO? Can a grandparent cover? Most working parents end up patching it together every few weeks.

Grace closes 12 days a year. Twelve. That's the difference between care that works for your job and care that constantly disrupts it.

Open all summer. Open on teacher workdays. Open during school breaks.

While most Aledo programs shut down for the full summer, the November teacher workday, the spring break week, and the two-week winter recess, Grace stays open. The Frog Street curriculum continues year-round. Summer adds camp-style enrichment programming. See camps and seasonal programs →

Built for the way Aledo families actually work

Most Grace families have two working parents or a parent on a non-flexible schedule. We built our calendar around that. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm — long enough to cover the Fort Worth commute, an early shift, or a workday that runs long.

Questions Aledo working parents ask

The reasons families pick Grace over school-calendar programs.

Is Grace open during school holidays and teacher workdays?

Yes. Grace Learning Tree closes only 12 days a year — far fewer than programs on the full Aledo ISD calendar. We stay open on most teacher workdays and school holidays so working families have dependable care.

Is Grace open in the summer?

Yes. Grace is open year-round, including all summer months. The Frog Street curriculum continues, and we add seasonal camp and enrichment programming.

How many days a year does Grace close?

Just 12 days a year. We also follow Aledo ISD weather closures for child safety.

What are your hours?

Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm.

Why does this matter for working parents?

Most school-calendar daycares close 25–35 days a year on top of weather days. That's 25–35 emergency-childcare scrambles for working parents. Grace's 12-day calendar removes most of those scrambles.
