Ask: "How long have your lead teachers been here?"
Full-year operating calendar
Why it matters: A school that closes 30+ extra days a year quietly multiplies your real childcare cost. Quality preschools operate 245–255 days. Franchise-template schools often operate 215–225.
Ask: "Can I see your full school calendar for the year?"
Transparent fee schedule shared in person
Why it matters: A confident school hands you the complete fee schedule on paper during your tour — including hidden costs like enrollment, supplies, holiday camps, late fees. Schools that won't share aren't being honest.
